OUR PROGRAMS

Our Programs

We have several programs for a variety of purposes, ranging from basic martial arts, to self defense, to esteem and life skills building and more. Over the years, the ATA has come to realize that there are many reasons for studying Songahm Taekwondo, and we have worked hard to develop programs that will help realize these goals rather than forcing our students into one, linear area of study and practice.

Songahm Taekwondo itself is always evolving, and as such we will always develop new programs and update our existing programs to ensure our students have as much access to the different aspects of Songahm Taekwondo as possible.

Taekwondo for Children

Karate for Kids is a comprehensive Songahm Taekwondo instruction for younger students ages 6-16. Click here to find out more.
Tiny Tigers Taekwondo is developed specifically for preschool age children ages 3 through 6. Click here to find out more.
These seminars are for you and your kids! We will teach the children how to avoid being a victim, how to be confident and to say “NO!” and other vital information to help keep them safe, all in a fun and non-fearful environment. Click here for more information.

Special Programs for Adults and Children

Protech Training is our advanced martial arts training, including weapons training and highly specialized self-defense tactics. Click here to find out more.
The Black Belt Club Program is a specially developed program by the ATA for all students regardless of age or rank. It represents the highest level of our "Success through Goal Setting" philosophy. Black Belt Club members are those individuals who have set their goal at "Black Belt" and make a committment to study and train until achieving that goal. Click here to find out more.
The Masters Club program is for those students with high dedication and a great black belt attitude. Students who are invited to join the program train to be a higher rank black belt student, a Jr. Trainee Instructor, or a Trainee Instructor. This program is also for students that one day hope to become a Master Teacher within the ATA. Click here to find out more.

Once enrolled in the Masters Club, Black Belt Club, or leadership clubs, students may choose to participate in any one of the following programs.

S.W.A.T. - This is our Special Winning Attitude Team. It is a select group of students from our Black Belt Club or Masters Club who serve as role models and teacher's assistants. Their responsibility is to lead by example, exemplifying the behavior, character and motivation of a tip top Black Belt.

Junior Trainee Instructor Program - This program's mission is to build future leaders of America for a better tomorrow. The program was devised in order to allow children, ages 8-15 to prepare themselves for the Trainee Instructor Program. It also aims to keep interest up and gives a broader outlook for the students to draw upon.

Trainee Instructor Program - This program is for any student ages 16 and above to prepare them for instructor certification. Trainee instructors are people who enjoy teaching others or who are interested in a career in the martial arts.
